FINA Required Elements

This video presents the technical required elements that have to be performed by competitors in Artistic Swimming  as a compulsory part of Technical Routines (Solo, Duet, Mixed Duet and Team) of both senior and junior categories.

General requirements for Technical Routines are displayed according to Fina Artistic Swimming Rules 2017-2021.( Refer to Fina Handbook Edition 2017, AS Rules Appendix VI  for full description).

The video shows, for every event and category, the 5 required elements that have an assigned degree of difficulty. That is: those combinations of movements designed and approved by TASC with the aim to  test the swimmers  technique proficiency on highly specialised skills.
